About

Ronnie Joy Toone is a writer, actor, and cartomancer from New York, currently living in Los Angeles.

Their love for the esoteric draws them to complex themes, such as death, abandonment, magic, and mental degradation.

I’m Ronnie, and this website was made specifically for you.

That’s right: from the color scheme to the font, I chose every element of this website because I knew you’d see it, and that means a lot to me, (Your Name)!

I’m Ronnie. But I’m so many others, too. I’m on a journey to be the best character conduit I can be. I play them, write them, love them, lose them –

No artist ever lives just one life, and my goal is to understand as many aspects of the human experience as I am able.

I was ashamed of this as a kid, because besides imitating accents I heard on TV and spending all my time writing fanfiction, I had no practical application for such a desire.

“It doesn’t pay!” “It’s hard work!” “It’s a listless, fruitless pursuit into fantasy” – also, I was too ugly for theater, so if I did get picked, it was to play a character I didn’t like and that didn’t fly.

But two years ago, I moved to Hollywood. Since then, I’ve not only written my first pilot – I wrote two more. And a short. I’ve worked on set and off, as an assistant and a scare actor (I’m attractive enough for this!!), as a teacher and a professional tarot reader.

I no longer have to be that weird little girl, lost in my imaginary worlds all alone: I create them for you, dear reader, and we can share them. I lend them my voice, my body, my words, and my soul. Each one is a rung on the ladder to Paradise, and we’re gonna climb it together, (Your Name), because we’re besties.

With Love,
Ronnie

P.S. idk if you saw, but I responded “yes” to your cookout invite! Can’t wait to see you and (Your Spouse’s Name) there! ❤
